The THP Tracking Center offers a THP Alert Subscription Service to notify you when Timber Harvest Plans (THPs) have been filed. We do this by plotting the location you designate as your target area against the location of new THPs as they are submitted.
You choose the level of monitoring; either your neighborhood (1 township = 36 sq mi) or your general area (9 townships = 324 sq mi). You can designate your target area as either a city, place name, township section & range, or by using latitude and lognitude.
We will notify you by email every time a new THP is filed within your target area. We will provide you with all the information we have available for that THP, and who to contact to provide input and comments. Some THP plans are available for download from Cal Fire (http://www.fire.ca.gov) and the Oregon Department of Forestry (http://www.odf.state.or.us).
The cost of the THP Alert Subscription Service is $20/year. To sign up, fill out the form on this page, click the Submit Button and after the form has processed, you can enter $20 and click the Donate Button to pay via Google Checkout. To subscribe by mail, fill out the form, in the comments field write "pay by mail", and send a check payable to the Klamath Forest Alliance, P.O. Box 457, Klamath Falls, OR 97601.
