| Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI): SPI has over 4,400 employees, owns and operates lumber mills, and manages 2 million acres of forest land in California, and over 230,000 acres in Washington. Primary timberlands are located in Humboldt, Siskiyou, Trinity, Shasta, Modoc, Lassen, Tehama Counties and throughout the Sierras. WEBSITE, LANDS, REPORT1, REPORT2, CALAVERAS Roseburg Resources Company: The company has over 3,700 employees and manages 800,000 acres of timberland (70,794 hectares of property located in Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, and Trinity counties) as well as lumber mills in and around Roseburg, Dillard, and Riddle, Oregon, and a softwood veneer plant in Weed, CA. WEBSITE, HOLDINGS Timber Products Company (TP): The company owns mills (Yreka, CA; Medford, White City & Grants Pass, OR; Corinth, MS & Munising, MI) and produces hardwood, softwood, plywood, particleboard, veneer and laminates. Timber Products owns over 130,000 acres in Northern California, most of it in Siskiyou County. WEBSITE Jeld Wen Jeld Wen manages over 8 million acres of timberlands located in 18 states, has 150 divisions and more than 20,000 employees. Manufactured products include wood, vinyl and aluminum windows and patio doors; wood and molded wood fiber interior doors; wood, steel, fiberglass exterior doors; and garage doors. WEBSITE Collins Pine The company owns and manages over 298,000 acres of hardwood and softwood forests in Oregon, California & Pennsylvania (94,000 acres in CA and 80,000 acres in OR). Operations include softwood, hardwood, and plywood mills in Lakeview, OR; Boardmen, OR; Chester, CA and Kane, PA. WEBSITE Pacific Forest Trust In 2006, Bascom Pacific and the Pacific Forest Trust created a working forest easement of almost 10,000 acres of timberlands in the Mc Cloud Area (4,826-acre McCloud River block and the 4,320-acre Bear Creek parcel). The easement prohibits development but allows for recreation and timberland management.
